Weekend Day 2: The Grading Ends (for now)

Ran to my office this morning to snag the papers for Regular physics plus the 3.75 dozen eggs I have left over from the Egg Drop earlier this week. Aged eggnog here I come! Anyway, started with the system analysis quiz for the second AP class, and they are perfectly able to do the math part, but their physics representations leave something to be desired. Definitely going to have to start picking up homework and giving more feedback and pushing higher values onto the physics and less on the math.

And done! Students did significantly better on the re-takes than the original exam for projectile motion, but there are definitely some bugs to work out. I really wish I had started with representations of motion for them to interpret, but can’t go back now. Exam tomorrow, and then getting into representations starting Tuesday.
