Physics: We reviewed for the exam yesterday and then took the exam today.
Honors Physics: Nuclear and atomic physics. Today we watched a documentary they all hated and the sound didn’t work and blegh. Not a great day.
AP Physics: Continuing practice problems. Today we did a complete practice test. I’m a little bored in this class now. At least I have time to grade papers. Looking forward to post-AP when we can do physics together again.
Robotics: I’m learning CAD. It’s hard. So far one student and I measured and created the model for the cart the team started working on last year and hasn’t quite finished. I learned how to make a piece and then put two pieces together. I don’t remember what all I learned in E8 at HMC when I had to learn basic modeling in Solidworks, but I do remember there was a lot of talking about putting holes in specific places to take thermal expansion into account. I’m very, very glad I don’t have to care about that at all for this project, because rough cuts are JUST FINE.
